I've got to renew my warning against distributing as official binaries
compiled by arbitrary people and uploaded to bugzilla. That's a
security hole just waiting to happen.

Re: [slim] 6.0.2 Release Candidate

2005-04-29 Thread John Hernandez
I have a SS 6.1.x nightly running on FC3 AMD64 (x86_64), and I'm happy
to report it works well. It was simply a matter of running
Bin/build-perl-modules.pl before starting the server. The result was a
CPAN/arch/5.8.5/x86_64-linux-thread-multi directory.

Should I tgz that tree and post it as enhancement?

2005-04-29 Thread Andrew W . Donoho
Dean,
I have built them. Everything works as expected. How do wish to have
me make them available?

Since the x86_64 is now shipping in volume for both Linux and Windows
XP, I expect that you will need to cross this bridge sometime in the
near future. This weekend, since Fedora Core 2 is now "end-of-life", I
will be upgrading my server to FC3. I will do a rebuild then also.

Best Regards,
Andrew

Hmmm...the Favorites plugin is a 6.1 feature and seems to depend on 6.1
APIs. I presume you went from 6.1 to 6.0.2. For now, please manually
remove it from your Plugins directory.
