How serious exactly is this problem? Is it it restricted to a particular manufacturer or is it widespread? I'm in the UK and I have a SB2 that has a MAC address of 00:04:20:05:A1:33 so I assume it would be affected by this issue. I'm using the coax digital out at the moment and it works with my current equipment, however, I had been planning to upgrade at some point this year. I was going to order one from Kawartha as soon as they have them in (there seems to be a delay though; perhaps this issue?) but I don't want to turn around and ship it back to Slimdevices for the fix because of all the attendant shipping and customs hassles. I am certain most of your overseas customers will feel the same way. Anyhow I just want to know the plan because when Kawartha phones me saying the SB2s are ready to ship I will be asking them this question and I want to make certain they are not the defective ones.
