Re: [slim] Strange Persistent MYSB Memory in SB3
Truly appreciate the help - it was fixed. While it still saddens and baffles me the concept is abandoned, I truly love the continued expertise and support. It is amazing that even a few years after being officially discontinued this system is still so superior to anything else available in the market - at least when it comes to catering to my needs. ...pablo Server: Virtual Machine running Ubuntu 12.04 + LMS 7.7.5 on VMware Player System: SB Touch --optical->- Benchmark DAC2HGC --AnalysisPlus Oval Copper XLR->- NAD M22 Power Amp --AnalysisPlus Black Mesh Oval->- Totem Element Fire Other Rooms: 2x SB Boom; 1x SB Radio; 1x SB Classic-> MusicalFidelity M1PWR -> Totem DreamCatcher Computer audio: workstation --USB->- audioengine D1 -> Grado PS500e/Shure 1540 pablolie's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3816 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104553 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

it somehow switches to the previous owner's and remembers it every time If the second or third support agent still wasn't able to help you, then feel free to send your player's MAC address (can be found on a sticker at the bottom of the device) to michael ät slimdevices dott com. -- Michael ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
Re: [slim] Strange Persistent MYSB Memory in SB3
If you get a knowledgeable Logitech person when you call support they can fix this in about 30 seconds. If they .have no clue what you are talking about, hang up and call again to get someone else. *Home:* VortexBox 4TB (2.3) > LMS 7.8 > Transporter, Touch, Boom, Radio (all ethernet) *Cottage:* VBA 3TB (2.3) > LMS 7.8 > Touch > Benchmark DAC I, Boom, Radio w/Battery (all ethernet except Radio) *Office:* Win8(64) > LMS 7.9 > Squeezelite *Spares:* Touch(3), Radio(3), Boom, SB3, CONTROLLER *Controllers:* iPhone6 & iPadAir2 (iPeng8 & Squeezepad), CONTROLLER, or SqueezePlay 7.8 on Win7(64) laptop *Files:* ripping: dbpoweramp > FLAC; post-rip: mp3tag, PerfectTunes; Streaming: Spotify garym's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17325 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104553 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

Re: [slim] Strange Persistent MYSB Memory in SB3
The MAC address of the unit is associated with the old account, the previous owner should have released it before selling it on. Either contact the previous owner or contact Logitech support and have them help you with it. You will have to supply the MAC address that should be on a sticker on the bottom of the unit. alfista's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=32396 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104553 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
