it looks like http://www.prontosqueeze.com/prontosqueeze_viewdemo.asp someone has developed an app for the pronto5, but the price (for the hardware) is just riducolous -- livelock livelock's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10284 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=57551 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

FWIW both the Philips TSU9600 and TSU9400 can directly control the Duet Receiver. Check on Remote Central for info on the program. These are fine remotes -- but they are pretty costly!!! -- chenrikson chenrikson's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=22407 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=57551 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

I checked ebay, 500 EUR / 640 USD, quite hefty -- livelock livelock's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10284 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=57551 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss

That Nevo looks really cool but it has to be installed by a reseller. That sounds expensive. I like the Harmony 890 as well. But it would be interesting to get a price on the Nevo. This one has a very good IR transmitter as well as Z-wave RF support which I use both to control lights as well as with RF2IR extenders to be able to control A/V equipment. Also, the Harmony "Activities" makes it easy enough to be used by everyone. It takes some time to get it perfectly configured, but when you are there it's very good. The fact that there are many keys is good in that you don't always have to look away from a good movie to use the remote. But then again that's a personal preference. -- Terje -- Terje Terje's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=6773 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=57551 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
