interesting; given the Receiver has no IR, I assume these remotes are
wireless, too? Do they interface to SC?

cheers,

FWIW both the Philips TSU9600 and TSU9400 can directly control the Duet
Receiver. Check on Remote Central for info on the program. These are
fine remotes -- but they are pretty costly!!!

You can use a IR to X10 controller for like $29.00 (1 Zone) and control
it with any learning or programable IR remote.

That Nevo looks really cool but it has to be installed by a reseller.
That sounds expensive. I like the Harmony 890 as well. But it would be
interesting to get a price on the Nevo. Do anybody know what they cost?

I don't have any experience with the Nevo, but the Harmony 895 (or 890
in the States) I have and will be getting one more. This one has a very
good IR transmitter as well as Z-wave RF support which I use both to
control lights as well as with RF2IR extenders to be able to control
A/V equipment. Also, the Harmony "Activities" makes it easy enough to
be used by everyone. It takes some time to get it perfectly configured,
but when you are there it's very good.

The fact that there are many keys is good in that you don't always have
to look away from a good movie to use the remote. But then again that's
a personal preference.

Hi Andre,

Sounds interesting and looks good, I am afraid I have no experience of
it personally.

Do you know if it supports X10, I have a fair bit around my home
controlling lighting and some appliances via Homeseer and a very basic
X10 RC to a transceiver module so this could be useful.
