Re: [slim] Volunteers Needed with Leopard and iTunes-Plus
My iTunes music library is specified to iTune as Macintosh HD:User:Shared:Music:iTunes:iTunes Music File permissions are system, wheel, everyone have Read and wire access. Itunes is set up this way so that I can share the music library with another account on my Mac. I am using Release 6.5.4, running on OS 10.5.1 on an iMac G5 with wireless connection to my SB3. -- villarana villarana's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13799 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=40337 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
Re: [slim] Volunteers Needed with Leopard and iTunes-Plus
I have not heard anything from support since 11/14 when I sent 3 tracks that I could not play while logged-out. Correspondence has been by E-mail, incident number 071031-003301 (among others). The first Email to support was sent 10/31. I have turned to the forums in hopes of a miracle-cure. No miracles yet. -- villarana villarana's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13799 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=40337 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
Re: [slim] Volunteers Needed with Leopard and iTunes-Plus
I think I blundered onto the solution: the V7-14891 beta of Squeezecenter (aka Slimserver) fixed the startup with option at system boot under MAC OS10.5. Using this option I can play iTunes-Plus music to my heart's content. Using the startup never option, and manually starting Squeezecenter means I can't play iTunes-Plus in the logged-out state - MOV123 component crashes (leaving behind a crash log). -- villarana villarana's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13799 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=40337 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss

Slimdevices support can't try this test as yet and told me they are too busy to pursue the matter.. Can somebody please try this combo??? Seems like serious problem to me. Did you speak with someone by phone or correspond by email? That's not an acceptable answer and I'd like to correct that. If you wouldn't mind, please send me a private message or email with the details of your conversation and I'll look into it. -= Jim -- JimC well, she wasn't all of that, but she sure was some of that. -- BKlaas' college buddy JimC's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9428 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=40337 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss

Have you repaired permissions? Can you verify permissions on your music folder?
