You may be able to install a later iPeng on an iPhone 5. I have it installed and running on both an iPhone 6s and an iPod Touch 4. The latter is older than an iPhone 5. Thanks for the advice - particularly putting a shortcut to the home screen for the material skin. That works great. Not sure I can get it working as a player easily. I did think I might be able to get the iPhone to behave like it is a Airplayer with a different app. But it looks a bit difficult. The other thing I did in Safari was to open to :9000/stream.mp3 This seemed to identify the 'player', but I couldn't get it to play anything. Once you start the stream (silently) in Safari ... try switching to Material and see if a new player has appeared. If yes then use Material to choose something to play on it. I simply have an extra choice of player 'earphones' and if chosen the music is played as shown rather than through LMS. Sounds ok to me both classical and Jazz but I am not an audiophile. My point was that it is not a major task to modify the code of the various html skins to allow playback through the audio element if a developer wished to do this. Whether they think it's a good idea and/or want to do it is of course, an other issue.
