Had the problem again this morning and i had been syncing over the weekend. Went into squeeze center and unsynced (softsqeeze was in the list but not actually running or connected). After the unsync, everything was fine so it looks like this is the problem. I think that I have cracked it (hopefully) I am syncing between an SB2 the newest squeezebox and SoftSqueeze. When I unsync SoftSqueeze the problem goes away. I've had the same problem since upgrading to 7.1. Once it starts doing it it does it for all tracks. Restarting the squeezecentre normally sorts it out. I've enabled LASTFM and I'm not sure if that is causing the problem. Disabled crossfade and it made no difference.
