CTRL prevents docking of floating windows or toolbars

Thanks for the headsup khirano and I did a quick bit of reading on that
issue. I have also attempted the CTRL + DoubleClick on the stylist and
there is some action. However that action docks the window to the left
and guess where I wanted to dock my windowthe right.

But for the life of me; in WindowsXP, I cannot drag a window using the
mouse to automatically dock on either side.

Hi,
Just fired up writer and tried what you suggest... no key pressing while
dragging the window to the corner.

No go. WinXP only issue?

Anyone else having this problem? The help doesn't mention how to
activate docking other than double clicking. which doesn't work
for me either.

System = Windows XP SP2

same problem over here...

I'm not sure if the behaviour is the same in Windows but in 1.9.91 on
SuSE you don't have to hold any keys. Just click hold and drag to
whichever side. In fact if you hold any keys down it won't dock.

That's been my experience. Anyone else?

By default match case is off
You can turn it on or of. There is a checkbox for that. I do not see the
problem. Maybe you have switched on this checkbox and you forgot to turn it
off.

Sorry, I should have been clearer.
In MSWord I can type hamlet in the Find Box and macbeth in the
Replace Box and it will find all the different capitalisations and
replace them accordingly *unless* I have the Match Case box checked.

In OO.o if I type hamlet in the Find Box and macbeth in the Replace
box it will replace *all* versions of capitalisations with the lowercase
version I entered in the Replace field. Match Case in OO.o1.1.4 limits
to finding the words as entered.

I like the MSWord version because I only have to make one search and
replace for a single word or even small group of words. With OO.o I
need to repeat the search and replace for each capitalisation of the
word for a thorough replacement.
