Also, the webcam is down - no image showing assorted carbon units milling
about the space or even one milling a piece of steel.

The webpage shows Saturday has open hours from noon to 5pm.  Considering
the weather forecast for tomorrow (snow!), I suggest you try an email
inquiry at noon or after.  Don't drive all the way in bad weather just to
find out it is closed.

I'm not sure what you mean by that, I'm at work here in downtown and can see 
the webcam just fine on live.synhak.org

I'll be there tomorrow starting at 1p, but yeah, we don't have scheduled hours 
on Friday, though someone may or may not be there in the evening.

At the time I posted the comment about no hackercam in operation at SH,
about 2.25pm, there was no hackercam in operation at SH.

At least it was not showing up on my system, even if I am running Win95
with 256 MB RAM in a rusty case with a Pentium 1 chip.

Yes, I have seen it in operation before and I hope to see it working in the
future.
