[drakelist] FS: Drake MN-2000 Tuner
Jim DiMauro <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> made an utterance to the drakelist gang -- I have a very nice Drake MN-2000 legal limit tuner in excellent working and cosmetic condition. It has some scratches on the cabinet that are visible in the photos. The only other issues are minor scratches on the front panel near the words "Match 1" and "Match 2" near the antenna switch to the left of the meter, and glue residue from a few small, round labels that a previous owner had pasted near some of the numbers around the Reactive and Resistive tuning controls. Other than what I've mentioned above, this unit is first class. Original instruction manual is included. Price is $200, which includes packing by my local UPS Store. Buyer to pay shipping and insurance charges from 07462. See photos here: http://www.dcaconsulting.org/photos/mn2000. 73, Jim W2BVM __ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! RE: [drakelist] TR-4C on 12 Meters
"Gerry" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> made an utterance to the drakelist gang -- You will also need a new value of L2. The one in the TR-4 will not tune that low so your crystal will not oscillate. You will almost certainly have to pad all the tuned circuits and completely forsake 10 meters. -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Vincent McKever Sent: Wednesday, December 20, 2006 3:40 PM To: drakelist@www.zerobeat.net Subject: [drakelist] TR-4C on 12 Meters Vincent McKever <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> made an utterance to the drakelist gang -- Good Afternoon group, I have an TR-4C that I want to put on 12 Meters by installing a 32.5 Mhz Crystal in the 10 Meter band 1 slot. I am looking for the crystal. Also need the 42.5 Mhz crystal for the 28.0 to 28.6 Mhz segment. Do any of you Gentlemen have any of the crystals? Thanks for your help and comments. I know it's a tight radio as to tuning.
