I have not seen Steve selling anything since John started so John is mostly the only source of large amounts of NOS Drake parts. As mentioned earlier he is also a Drake repair tech for himself as a side business. These new parts were what was left in Drakes parts shelves when they discontinued service/support for the 4 line and then the 7 line. For a year or so Drake was selling those parts to us through their website at about 25 cents on the dollar and then Steve, the Drake club, and John bought what was left. -- I second (or third) that. John is honest and competent Hi All John Kriner is a first rate service tech for Drake gear. He just serviced a TR-5 for me and is doing another radio this summer. Fair rates, excellent work and first rate safe shipping. He went the extra mile for me and even replaced some cosmetic parts I couldn't find. He worked many years at the Drake factory and used to have a web site. He said he is working on a new one. Also, sorry for opening the can of worms on the logbook mail damage. As a side note, I looked up some of the faces in the logbook from the Drake book I purchased and recognized some of them. The logbooks look vintage which adds to their appeal. Regards Steve WA7EZB

Gary Poland [EMAIL PROTECTED] made an utterance to the drakelist gang -- John still works for Drake, he is one of, if not the only, service tech. The spare parts inventory was sold off through various means, some through Steve Morgan's website, some by the DARC and Ebay, and some sold directly to other individuals servicing Drake. [drakelist] need crystals
Hi Does any body have a set ..or either one? ...crystals for 17 meters? for my r4c.
