[drakelist] Drake 7073 DM Mic: Info please
I have one of these here, but a web search does not identify it. At the excellent Cherry/Torp site, a search using this model # reveals a different mic. It is a mobile-style hand mic, black, with touch tone buttons and a mic hanger on the back. Has a coiled cord terminated in a 4-pin (female) plug. Has Drake ID /Model # tag on the front. The front has a raised set of plastic bars to form a square "grille." The grip to talk lever occupies most of the left side. For what rig was this issued? With which rigs is this compatible? Thanks in advance. (73) Les ---===WB6ORZ===---

[drakelist] Need please: TV-7 Settings for Drake Tube
Re the 6HS6 (actually two of them) in my R4-A, there are no test settings called out in the TV-7 data Book. Does anyone have these, perhaps developed by others over time. My recent visit to EB5AGV's fine TV-7 site came up short. Thanks in advance. (73) Les ---===WB6ORZ===---
[drakelist] Remove" sticky" from sticky paint
I once successfully cleared the sticky-ness off of a Drake by wiping it down with "Armor-All" cleaner, the stuff I had used in the past on dashboards.. I recall it was their Cleaner, and not the "Protectant," but it might have been a combo product. Did just what I hoped it would, and left the cabinet with a nice finish, left the original color, just not sticky. As I recall it took at least an hour of repeated scrubbing. I believe I used an old, soft terry towell. Try it on a surface which is not highly visible, as I am going from memory here, and you know how that can be. (73))))) Les ---===WB6ORZ===---
[drakelist] Value of AUX 7please?
I don't have one for sale, but I have a line on one available locally, and I might like to buy it, but I would like to know the fair market value of one. It is listed as "original, in the original box." Thanks. (73) Les ---===WB6ORZ===---
