Not yet. I just today found time to get a build started of the stuff Richard
Cognot handed me that makes the RagePRO support close to what's in the trunk.

As soon as I verify that I have that working, I'm doing that test. Should be
shortly.

It's in the process of being revived.

Right now, I'm just seeing what I have to work with. Once I've got a good
handle on it, I'll be giving the DMA support another go (which Gareth alludes
to...).

I know what you mean. Utah-GLX can deal with many things, but it just
doesn't work for XFree86 4.0.X and doesn't quite have the oomph for things
like Tribes 2 (which I've seen and played).

Frank, did you ever try the aligned-DMA-descriptors fix?

I, too, am interested in the status of this project. I have a perfectly good Xpert98
AGP sitting here collecting dust :).

No, it's not dead. Right now as I type this, I'm starting to sort through
the process of learning how to get the build process for DRI drivers going.
Once I've got that done, I plan on picking up the work done by Gareth
followed by Richard Cognot to get RagePRO support under the DRI.
