Re: [Dspace-devel] 1.7.0 RC1 status

Hi Peter,

I've just gotten back online this morning. Yes, this is an issue that
needs to be addressed. We have a much larger problem in that the
rsync process was decommissioned rather quietly in favor of the
sonatype release process. This really puts us in a spot. I will need
to step in and work out the details here so that we can sonatype
publishing working.

Would it be quicker / easier for us - for the purposes of the release
candidate and testathon - to use a DSpace repository without it syncing to
the central servers?

That would then buy us time to deal with the sonatype issues.

  Hi Peter,

Just wanting to check in on the 1.7.0 RC1 status. I noticed it looks like
we didn't get the release out on Friday (which is fine -- shouldn't be a
 big
deal). Just let me know if you need me to take the lead on anything on
Monday to make sure 1.7 Testathon goes off as planned.

Thanks! Have a good rest of your weekend!

  - Tim
