Re: [DSTAR_DIGITAL] Home repeater no longer exists on the network, what to do?
K2DIG is currently off of the network due to a failed router. A new one has been obtained, however due to security concerns at the repeater site it my take some time to get the router installed. Scott KB2EAR K2DIG Server admin The repeater I registered with (K2DIG) seems to have dropped off the trust about a month ago. The repeater is still operational, but without gateway services. I have tried to contact them, or I wouldn't be asking here.

The repeater I registered with (K2DIG) seems to have dropped off the trust about a month ago. The repeater is still operational, but without gateway services. I have tried to contact them, or I wouldn't be asking here. I need to register a few more radios, and have them capable of working simultaneously (suffixed call sign). Is there another way to accomplish this with my home repeater being down? Thanks Gary KB2BSL
Re: [DSTAR_DIGITAL] Home repeater no longer exists on the network, what to do?
Unless you plan to use them all at the same time why not just place the registered call sign in the UR and go on until K2DIG comes back to life ? I do plan on using most of them at the same time. RE: [DSTAR_DIGITAL] Home repeater no longer exists on the network, what to do?
About the only reason why you have to have multiple terminals is if you are running multiple ID-1s. You can run as many other radios as you want. And remember, you don't have to be registered. Registration only gives you the ability to link and call sign route. I've got a number of different radios, they all have the same call sign and no suffixes. Actually, I know a few people with multiple ID-1s. Unfortunately, I only have one on loan.
