Thanks Scotie!! Greatest work: where is the ICOM G2 software and ICOM updates?
Is that on your server? Can I down load it?

Does anyone believe Scotie and those other trust servers bought their own
copies?

You are funny Mike :)

Where do I down load it?

An ICOM gateway can run as an ICOM Gateway or it can become
an ICOM TRUST server itself, because dsipsvd is included
when you install the ICOM G2 software
and it is mostly dsipsvd that does all the work of the
TRUST server.

I believe we could write an OPEN SOURCE replacement
to dsipsvd since we know most of the packets that
come and go between an ICOM G2 Gateway and a ICOM TRUST server.

It is another project by itself.

Your dstar repeater already has dsipsvd installed.
Follow the instructions and it becomes an ICOM TRUST server.

This is not my work Aro, the instructions on the web site
were created by the EU TRUST group at www.xreflector.net

They worked hard to test, prove and place a NEW ICOM TRUST
server in production.

They did something amazing.

Now more ICOM TRUST groups will pop up and I believe
we will have a system where a single point of failure will not
bring down the whole system.

All my G2 home-brew dstar gateway source code is
OPEN SOURCE running on Linux only.
I did not buy anything, simply I do not have that kind of
money.

However the ICOM TRUST servers in Europe and those
ICOM dstar repeaters that are members of that EU ICOM TRUST,
yes, those are pure ICOM hardware/software and that I know costs
a lot of money.

No, what we'll have is several fragmented networks that won't talk to each
other, each of which has its very own single point of failure. This is not
an improvement.
