Hi All,

Just about every morning I hear on 30 meters a
Numbers station that sends 5 letter groups at about 17 WPM. It's on 10126.00 and
peaks 50DB over S9 here. Today had some QSB so it might not be local or
perhaps my frontend is melting. It's within the band that we share with
other services, could it be spy or commertial traffic?

Take a listen about 11Z

GA Ron -

I believe that you are off-base on this one and it is highly
unlikely that the NSA told you or even suggested that you mind your
own business.

It is suggested that you research exactly what the NSA is all
about. Your intercept may have seemed important to you.
However, don't sell the NSA short...Believe me.

I sent the pages to the National
Security Agency (NSA) and was
told more or less to stop it and mind my
own busines.

With an attitude like that then the
jerks deserve what they get or
NOT get.

How about 100 ham stations copy this
traffic and mail it to:

National Security
Agency
9800 Savage
Road,
Fort George Meade, MD
20755-6000

Give frequency/time and any callsign you
hear.

I think NSA has forgotten cw as a means

now involved with internet/sat phone
intercepts.
