I'm using 12.04 Unity 5.20. When I insert an audio CD, I get the dialog window asking me what I want to do. If I close or cancel that dialog window, then the CD icon disappears from the launcher. This only happens with audio CD's. Holding down the Ctrl key, the Alt key, and the Del key all at the same time brings up the Logout dialog in the event the Session indicator is not available. I can confirm this behavior and the initial black behind the Dash is due to the fact that OpenGL 1.4 is being forced as the workaround for the poor performance for Mesa 9.2. Switching to the user's vt displays the desktop for an instant before the screen actually locks. 2- Switching to the greeter revokes the user's device access, resulting in music not playing anymore, alarm sounds not ringing, etc. I fully expect to be able to start my music player, and have the music playing while I lock my screen. 3- The user's power preferences are no longer applied as expected when the greeter is being displayed. 4- The user experience is inconsistent with other ways of locking the screen, such as waiting for the timeout to occur, or pressing on Ctrl- Alt-L. I see this when I close the lid or select Suspend from the session menu, but not if I suspend via the hotkey (Fn F4 on my laptop). If you maximize a gnome-temrinal and then un-maximize it, it will shrink by a full column and row. * run 'gnome-terminal' * click the maximize button (or keybinding 'maximize') * click the unmaximize button (or keybinding 'unmaximize') * notice that window has shrunk (if you do it repeatedly you'll end up with a very small window). This seems to have regressed somewhat recently in saucy for me, but I"m not too sure to be honest. Should I open any program or window, then try to open Dash Home menu, I get malfunctions. Usually the icons are visible, but program descriptions are filled in with color, such as a block of red or yellow. Other times the whole menu is blank and turns black upon mouseover. Rarely, it locks up my graphics card and have to restart system by switching to terminal (by using ctr+alt+f1). It worked for my in Ubuntu 13.04, but not in 13.10, updated up to 2013-09-29. I could also use HUD to change my status in Empathy from Available to Busy and vice-versa. In Ubuntu 13.04 Beta HUD no longer finds the "Update Status" option when typing "Update Status" or "Update" Also writing "Available" "Away" or "Busy" no longer gives any results. Other indicators however are accessible and I can use HUD to Suspend my computer or to view Skype status or Ubuntu one indicator options. Repeating: 1. Press alt key to start HUD 2. Write "Update status" or "Available" What was expected: HUD should have shown options ether from Gwibber to Update Status or Empathy to change status to Available both available from the messaging indicator. What happened: HUD didn't find any results. Notes: I have Ubuntu 13.04 Beta 64bit upgraded from Ubuntu 12.10 64bits and I'm using proprietary fglrx drivers.
