[Dx-packages] [Bug 1239016] Re: latest hud totally busted
The useful log files could appear in the hud log (~/.cache/upstart/hud.log). Also, is there a HUD crash file in /var/crash ? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of DX Packages, which is subscribed to hud in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1239016 Title: latest hud totally busted Status in “hud” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I'm sorry I don't have any better information on this; I'm not sure where to find any useful log files (nothing useful gets printed in the terminal), but when I install the latest hud (13.10.1+13.10.20131011-0ubuntu1), it causes autopilot tests to crash. They will run for a bit, but then exit without reporting any results. Presumably hud is causing them to crash (worked fine before updating hud). Happens at least to unity8-autopilot, webbrowser-app-autopilot, ubuntu-keyboard-autopilot, and calendar-app-autopilot. Didnt bother to test anything else after that (ran out of time). [Dx-packages] [Bug 1212987] Re: Unity not starting after boot
FYI I had this problem twice or three times, I had to make the settings with CompizConfig Settings Manager like described. sudo apt-get install cssm That solved all in the end. [Dx-packages] [Bug 1239710] Re: indicator-datetime missing
I'm having difficulty reproducing this issue. When indicator-datetime fails to appear, is the indicator-datetime- process running on the system? Since there's no crash report, it seems likely that it's either hanging or is somehow failing to launch. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of DX Packages, which is subscribed to indicator-datetime in Ubuntu.
