[Dx-packages] [Bug 1529499] Re: Allow fast switching between timezones

2016-01-21 Thread Matthew Paul Thomas
"In the control center i can add multiple timezones" suggests that this
is about the PC, not the phone. Is that correct, Kai? (Ubuntu on phones
makes it more important than ever that bug reports mention an exact
Ubuntu version.)

Choosing an indicator menu item is more convenient than diving into
System Settings, but it still counts as "set the new timezone manually".
Automatic time zone changing would be based on location. So if this was
about the phone, it would be a duplicate of bug 1377087. The PC design
needs to converge in including that option.

Bug description:

around i need to set the new timezone manually. It would be so cool if
I could just switch between my preconfigured locations.

This would also prevent things like #87

The dash doesn't find files when searching for key letters (letter
sequences), which will be helpful when you don't remember the exact name of the
file. It does find files if the words are separated by space, but when the
words are separated by '_' it doesn't.
  Examples:
  1) Two files 'backup_banshee.sh' and 'backup banshee.sh'. If I type in the
dash 'backup' , both files will show up. However if I type 'banshee' only
'backup banshee.sh' will show up.

  2) Two files 'Amenda 02' and 'Amenda02'. If I type in the dash
'amenda' , both files will show up. However if I type '02' only
  'Amenda 02' will show up.

  3) Other files appear as results, files that don't have anything to to
with the search. See the bkp.png screenshot as an example.

[Dx-packages] [Bug 1532731] Re: Battery indicator still wrong on BQ Aquaris 4.5

I'm currently run a script to capture frequently the output from 'upower

My phone is placed most of the time on my desk. No changes, no usage. My
suspicion is, that only the voltage of the battery is used for the
calculation of the remaining power. The values 'energy', 'energy-full'
