[Dx-packages] [Bug 1440162] Re: Misplaced spinner in sound menu
Here's what I see on current Trusty: * Initially when there's nothing playing the spinner appears at the correct position. * When I start playing something the menu is made a lot wider when the Now Playing info appears. * Now the spinner appears left of the Play button, over the Previous button as the menu is wider than before. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of DX Packages, which is subscribed to ido in Ubuntu. This issue causes the edge glow of icons to be offset at sizes less than 40 and greater than 56. This looks really ugly and unprofessional. [Test case] * Open CCSM-Ubuntu Unity Plugin-Launcher * Change Launcher Icon Backlight Mode to Edge Illumination Toggles * Change Launcher Icon Size to some value in the range described above such as 38. * Make sure an application is open on the Launcher to see the edge glow around the icon. Matching subscriptions: dx-packages https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1257889 Title: Left clicking launcher icons only works once on specific dual monitor setups Status in Unity: Incomplete Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: I'm using a dual monitor setup with 1680x1050 and 2560x1440 screens. When the 1440p is aligned to the right or below the other screen, and the launcher is just on the 1440p screen, each individual icon on the launcher only reacts to a left click once. After that, left clicking does not launch the application anymore but middle, right click and dragging the icon still works. Having the 1440p on the left or above the other screen does not cause this bug. Also having the launcher placed on both screens at the same time does not cause it. [Dx-packages] [Bug 1254281] Re: Launch and global menu bars get invisible when returning from full screen
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. This is probably a duplicate of bug 1240595 (though you shouldn't really see it with chromium). Please test if you can reproduce the issue with following applications (if not this is definitely a duplicate of bug 1240595): - totem (Videos in dash) - firefox - chromium-browser - mplayer (not installed by default) - vlc (not installed by default) Also, please execute the following command, as it will automatically gather debugging information, in a terminal: apport-collect 1254281 When reporting bugs in the future please use apport by using 'ubuntu- bug' and the name of the package affected. You can learn more about this functionality at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ReportingBugs. ** Package changed: ubuntu = unity (Ubuntu) ** Also affects: unity Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: unity Status: New = Incomplete ** Changed in: unity (Ubuntu) Status: New = Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of DX Packages, which is subscribed to unity in Ubuntu. However, when I press ESC to return from full screen the launch and global menu bars get invisible, and I need to press super key (for example) to get them back. This situation is observed with any applications (e.g., chromium , document viewer). This didn't happen in the previous ubuntu version, but it is happening now in Ubuntu 13.10.
