[Dx-packages] [Bug 1252026] Re: Message indicator and Empathy showing different status

2014-04-11 Thread Lars Uebernickel
This seems to be a bug in empathy. telepathy-indicator (the component
providing messaging menu integration with empathy) correctly requests
TP_CONNECTION_PRESENCE_TYPE_HIDDEN when I choose invisible from the
messaging menu.

** Package changed: indicator-messages (Ubuntu) = empathy (Ubuntu)

Title:
Message indicator and Empathy showing different status

Status in “empathy” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
Maybe related to #1103438. The following behaviour occurs:

-if I select Invisible from Messaging Menu, Empathy actually changes to
Busy.
-if I select Invisible in Empathy it activates Busy in Empathy instead.
Messaging Menu however also shows Busy when this happens.

The behaviour is not always consistent, it depends on the exact order
  the status is selected.

  Description: Ubuntu 13.10
  Release: 13.10
  empathy 3.8.4-1ubuntu2
  indicator-messages 13.10.1+13.10.20131011-0ubuntu1
