Congratulations Todd!
Let's see if I can do this from memory.
1. Close log file; open Databases-Countries; From Country dropdown list
-Add; Fill in blanks; back to country drop down and click update. Go to
Calls/ Add; Fill info. Calls dropdown/Update . Files/save and exit.

I believe this should do it.

The Ducie "info" is at http://www.qsl.net/wd4ngb/ducie.htm (
Latitude,longitude, zones etc.)

The " How to " add it to DX4WIN is in the help files. Click on at
the top of the page, next click on in the drop
down widow.
type in the dialogue box. You will see a topic show up below , click on this and a detailed set of instructions pops up!!

[Dx4win] Logging exact Frequency

2002-03-19 Thread Dave Henderson
George

To get the $$ command to work putting the exact frequency in the log do
the following

Go to the window
  click on
click on
A little pop up box appears, and there is a box at the bottom
put <$$> in this box ...click on ( you apparently do not need to
"check" the little box " to get this feature to
work...go figure that one !)

all subsequent QSO's should record the freq in the comment field.
Note: If you have a QSO in "progress" in the entry window the frequency
will not be added to that QSO but to all others after that

Let me know if this doesn't work

[Dx4win] Logging exact Frequency

2002-03-19 Thread George Beasley
I am wondering if there is a way of permanently logging the exact QRG in the
notes for this QSO field? I know I can do it by CTRL-R for each QSO but I
want it to be automatically inserted for every QSO.

I want to keep the Band in Meters for QSLing etc. so I don't want to do it
that way. The users guide says use $$ but that does not seem to work.
Anybody doing this?

A reminder please -

Can some kind DX4WIN user supply the step by step instructions for adding
VP6 - Ducie

Must be that this little op and his wire broke through the pile.

Now to accurately log the QSO.

Your assistance please.

[Dx4win] Band/mode tracking

2002-03-19 Thread Victor West
Been a while since I have used my 920, but..It could be that in the
process of changing bands, you brought up a "memory" rather than VFO A or B.
DX4WIN does not communicate with memories, but the memories do act like VFOs
as far as the radio is concerned.
