[Dx4win] FT-847 CAT RESOLVED !!!!
Hi guys, Just to let you know that the problem was in the cable. I needed a null modem cable. I was using the cable from my 1000MP. I crossed 2 and 3 and it works great now ! Not very smart from Yaesu to do this ! Thanks to all. 73's Marc ON6AA __ PROTECTED BY NORTON ANTIVIRUS 2003 Take a look on : www.qsl.net/on6aa and http://users.skynet.be/uba-ost
[Dx4win] PSK 31 window double-click
Hi, Some of you experience the problem that a double-click in the PSK31 window no longer seems to work (or never worked). WindowsXP seems to be the common element. As far as I know, there are plenty of XP systems out there where this function works correctly. I copy this note to the reflector in the hope that we can find something common among the systems that have this problem. Paul --- Hi Rene, I have heard about this problem, but I have no idea why it affects a tiny portion of the WindowsXP users. I can only speculate that a system DLL was replaced when other software was installed. You may also want to check if there is a more recent version of your video display driver. The problem for me is that this only happens in a few rare cases; if it was a general problem under XP it would be easier to track down. Sorry that I cannot be of more help at this time, Paul
[Dx4win] IC775DSP/CT-17 vs DX4WIN

My IC-756 Pro works with the radio transceive setting in either position. However, when it's on, the band/mode display in DX4WIN can bobble while tuning the dial (temporarily go to strange bands/modes). When transceive is off, it's rock solid. However, I must remember to turn it back on when running CT, which expects the radio to babble frequency when the VFO knob is turned. 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C, 7 Charlemont Court, North Chelmsford, MA 01863 USA +978-251-9933, [EMAIL PROTECTED], http://www.ad1c.com PGP Fingerprint: D8E2 3D78 339F A7F1 8C13 1193 B5D1 4FB6 79D1 70DC
[Dx4win] IC775DSP/CT-17 vs DX4WIN
I'm not so sure that is a good idea Jim. I discovered this problem when going back through my log and found a few QSO's on bizarre frequencies... Sometimes the bobble strikes just as you log the QSO... Tranceive really should be off with DX4WIN... I used CT also... So I just put a reminder in the batch file that started CT... Something like... @ECHO Is the tranceive mode set? @PAUSE It's not a problem with newer rigs... But some of the older ones are a little difficult to switch transceive on and off... It really would be nice if DX4WIN worked like CT, YPLog and Writelog... On my wish list... -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Jim Reisert AD1C Sent: December 10, 2002 8:17 PM To: Pete Smith; dx4win@mailman.qth.net Subject: RE: [Dx4win] IC775DSP/CT-17 vs DX4WIN At 03:46 PM 12/7/2002 -0500, Pete Smith wrote: The 775 doesn't have the infamous transceive switch, does it?
