[Dx4win] How can I find duplicate QSO's?
Thanks for that explanation Paul - I understand better now. The export includes seconds but when I hand enter the time it's to the even minute. I'll try changing the export filter as you suggest. When you make a copy of that filter, and change the time format not to uses seconds, you can filter out the second duplicates by first deleting all QSOs (this preserves the group numbers you may have defined) and import the complete log again, ignoring duplicate QSOs You may have to add a dummy QSO in you empty log to force the checking for duplicate QSOs) This procedure assumes that the times only differs in seconds. Make sure you save your log under a different name and check it out! Paul At 11:24 AM 4/9/03 -0500, Larry Alkoff wrote: How can I find duplicate QSO's in the DX4Win log file? Sometimes I hand enter a new QSO onto my office computer which I use for official QSLing and tweaking, but usually import the current month with Imported QSO is ignored checked. Although I haven't tested this situation rigorously , I _think_ this produces two seemingly identical entries because the time is not exactly the same to tenths of a second. I sometimes stumble over the dupes but I'd like to eliminate these systematically. [Dx4win] dxspots window
Cannot get dxspots window to restore. Clicking it goes between restore = up and minimize. When in restore cannot get any callsigns. Moving = cursor on edges does not work either. Running Win XP Pro. Any ideas? [Dx4win] QSL Printing Directly to Cards
Hi Folks, I have not done much QSLing in a long time. I am home for a few days and wanted to get caught back up. I have used the same QSL Cards and printer for a long time. I have the same paper definition for the QSL card. When I go into Labels | Print QSL Labels | QSL Method | (Pick a method). I have one that has 61 QSOs listed, but it only prints one card. The one that has 1 does not print the card. I did not want to do my buro list (way too many, but I will print them this weekend..maybe) yet. When I go to Edit | Preview and print, the demo two cards work just fine. The menu on the Top says # of QSOs, but I do not seem to get all of the cards to show up in the print preview. What am I doing wrong?? TNX Will NA2NA
[Dx4win] QSL Printing Directly to Cards
Will, When you do an EDIT | Preview, you get enough to see what is going on using dummy data. When you PRINT, you can also select a preview, which will use all available real data to show what will happen. Does that explain what you observe?
