[Dx4win] Re: Too fast callsign lookup w/RAC
Hello. About your problem, try unchecking the Callsign Update mark (Main window File Preferences QSO Callsign Update). That way, lookup will not take place until you leave the callsign field (i.e. typing a space after entering the callsign). I think your 366 MHz laptop may have it unchecked. About the cursor moved from the callsign field to the lookup window, it may be due to an auto focusing feature of Windows. I didn't note that. 73 de Isidro, EA8NQ E-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] --- Visit the EA8NQ's DX Page (in Spanish): http://www.qsl.net/ea8nq/ --- - Original message - De: Carlos Ferreira [EMAIL PROTECTED] Para: DX4WIN Reflector dx4win@mailman.qth.net Asunto: [Dx4win] Too fast callsign lookup w/RAC Fecha: domingo 18 de mayo de 2003 15:17 Hello all ! I have just encountered a problem while using another laptop computer with DX4WIN and RAC CD call sign book. I use a laptop with 366 MHz ( Win ME ) and when using DX4WIN to lookup at RAC on automatic mode, it will do it right after I am done with the typing of the call on call sign window, but when using another Laptop with 1 GHz ( Win XP Pro ) I can't do the same, while typing the callsign on the window, RAC will check it for every letter I type in, and I will loose the cursor on the window making it go to RAC window. The only way to make it work on the fast Laptop is to change the RAC window to manual use, by pressing the key F3 every time I want to get info of a call sign. Does anyone encountered the same problem, or have any idea of what I am overseeing ? Please replay with any possible ideas to resolve my problem. Thanks. Mvh. Carlos Ferreira

If you do this be sure you save the modified file as ASCII text. 73, Pete N4ZR The World HF Contest Station Database was updated 9 May 03. Are you current? www.pvrc.org/wcsd/wcsdsearch.htm

I just checked the ADIF specs and I can't find anything specifying minimum or maximum for any field, including MODE. If I'm wrong, I'll say so, would they do the same. Hi Ron, I tried to upload my logs from DigiPan and would not work. DigiPan uses BPSK for PSK31... The LoTW people said they are going to broaden the type (variations) of modes in the final version.
