Is there a way to print address labels ? Also, as I work new grids in the four digit format and enter them in the grid box, they are saved but the tally is incorrect when I check progress. The DXCC total is OK and so is the WAS. I am running version 6.03. Look in the on-line help unde QSO Window: Labels. Or maybe someone else on the reflector can explain how this works. 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C, 7 Charlemont Court, North Chelmsford, MA 01863 USA +978-251-9933, [EMAIL PROTECTED], http://www.ad1c.com PGP Fingerprint: D8E2 3D78 339F A7F1 8C13 1193 B5D1 4FB6 79D1 70DC

I am a new user and finished entering several thousands of QSO's (DX) into my logging program and now I am starting on the Stateside contacts. I have 38 years of logs to put in there and was wondering if anyone had figured out a way to have a filter or a column for the FISTS and the CC numbers? I have another logging program I have been using and transferred my database from that one successfully and now I was just wondering if anyone has a way to add these numbers? Or how would you go about filtering them out from the masses? I have been reading the manual and finally updated to the 6.03 version successfully too. That makes the program run so much easier and has several nice functions I like. Is there a place that I missed in the manual that covers this? Thanks for any help here. If, in future versions, a place is provided to put the data, a program could be written to retrieve the field and insert it into the proper place in the records. The search feature can be used to select all the records which contain FISTS= when needed. I am using the Notes for this QSO field to contain PSK31 or MFSK, for example, to differentiate digital QSOs, all of which are logged as RTTY. If I already had the data in a logging program, I would add the text, FISTS= plus the number to be added into the importable format to be added to one of the Notes fields. Les, the current country file can be found on my web site. It contains the latest IOTA data *except* for AS-170 - that's coming in Release 9 (in progress): http://www.ad1c.com/dx4win/ The database is compatible with DX4WIN going back to version 4.07. Note DX4WIN version 6.03 shipped with Release 7, and Release 8 was published a few weeks later. The last IOTA update was in Release 6 (current to 1 May 2004). Release 9 is still at least a week away. It's waiting for the QSL manager database cleanup (I'm up to the T's now). There are also about a dozen callsign mappings to add. The Release 9 revision history is mostly current, so you can see the changes that are coming. 73 - Jim AD1C = Jim Reisert AD1C, 7 Charlemont Court, North Chelmsford, MA 01863 USA +978-251-9933, [EMAIL PROTECTED], http://www.ad1c.com PGP Fingerprint: D8E2 3D78 339F A7F1 8C13 1193 B5D1 4FB6 79D1 70DC From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Jul 19 15:34:11 2004 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Mark Jones) Date: Mon Jul 19 15:36:04 2004 Subject: [Dx4win] Beam heading on map window Message-ID: [EMAIL PROTECTED] All Certain I am in brain dead mode, but now with 6.03 I can't find how to switch on the beam heading in the map window. The total qso's in one of my logs is 2251 but when I set the upload flag only 2217 is flagged, so it states. What is happening to the missing 34 ? Also should not the Upload button change from N to Y when the Upload Flag is Set? I am not using a filter but want to upload my entire log. Thanks john
