2009-11-11 Thread Theo Bemelmans
Hi Paul,

Just installed latest version and its working fine like with my 6 version in
the past, no problems with
installing on windows 7.
Have been using dx4win since the start long time ago.

Keep up the good work.

Hi Peter,

I assume you have DX4WIN version 7 or later.

Get MMTTY working stand-alone first.

Then find the MMTTY application note at http://dx4win.ad1c.us and use
it to guide you for setting up DX4WIN.

[Dx4win] Report fields in the Report Generator window

2009-11-11 Thread LY2CX
Hi All,

I want to share what I don't like in this perfect software.
By the way this was in the v.1.2 and my wish was to skip from this
within the upgrade to v.8.02.

The question is related with the Report: LogBook window.
Particular with the EDITING of this LogBook Report.

If on the Report LogBook to click right mouse button,
to choose Report Editor we will get open Report Generator window.
O the right side of this window there is a list of Report fields.
Problems:
1.Those Report fields (when open this window) mismatch with the existing
Report LogBook fields that I have and would like to EDIT.
2. E.g. I would like only to change the Sort Index in Report Generator
window, but I can't do simply only this, I always must check Report
fields and to EDIT them, otherwise
if I will pres Ok button I will get totally different Report LogBook.
I don't have a clue where from those Report fields are picked up by the
software. This really confuses all the time.

Sorry if this already was reported, but it's still there, or there are
some workarounds.

Re: [Dx4win] Report fields in the Report Generator window

2009-11-11 Thread Mel
There is no bug that I can see Vigis. It works fine, you can change the
sort Index without changing any fields. I really don't understand your
problem...

You don't have to use the Report Editor to change the sort index. Just
select the Report and it gives you the option to change the Sort Index.

[Dx4win] Filter settings reversed

2009-11-11 Thread Dave Perry N4QS
My K3 has been working great with DX4WIN except for one issue. When I double
click on a spot that is split, the K3 reverses the filter bandwidths between
VFO A and VFO B. Normally I keep VFO A at 250 Hz and B at 400 Hz. So when I
click on a spot, I want to keep the filter bandwidths the same. The RX and TX
frequencies are being set properly by DX4WIN -- it is just that the filter
bandwidths are being reversed. I am using the Elecraft K3 X4 radio file.

Any help would be appreciate. Thanks.
