Re: [Dx4win] Sunrise/set and Same Call ver 803

2010-01-21 Thread Mel
Not true. If you don't have the the "callsign update" box checked (on
Preferences-QSO tab) the info will update when you exit the call field.
There is no need to click on another window. If you chack the box it
will check as you enter each letter.

[Dx4win] Sunrise/set and Same Call ver 803

2010-01-21 Thread Harald Kjøde
When writing a call in the call sign window, the window Sunrise/set and Same
Call does not show anything before clicking another window.

To get back to start I have to push F9 and answer “no” at the window “save
the QSO you just added?”.

Very confusing.

[Dx4win] Spot Color

I would appreciate it if someone could remind me how I change the spot
colors from DXCC colors to WAS or WAZ colors. I know I've seen
something about doing that, but I cannot for the life of me remember
how to do it.

Old age ain't what it's cracked up to be...
and it ain't cracked up to be MUCH!!!

Given that 96dpi is the default and what most people use... get your

[Dx4win] Slow response using Yaesu FT-450

2010-01-21 Thread Janet McLeod
Hi,

Was wondering if there are any known problems with using the FT450 and DX4WIN?

I am finding that although it works fine with the FT1000 MK5, when I connect up
the 450, when I enter a QSO it takes about 3 seconds before it is ready to
enter the next one - the FT1000 is instant.

I have played with all the settings from 4800 to 38400 on the radio settings,
the radio speed on FT450, and com port speed with no difference. Have also
played with the polling speeds and found no difference. Any advice would be
much appreciated.

Am using DX4Win v8, but v7 was the same.
