If you have a previous QSO in your log with PJ2T, that has IOTA SA-006, the new QSOs will *also* inherit the previous IOTA number. Once all your "new" PJ2T QSOs are corrected to SA-099, then any new ones will get the correct IOTA. This is true of ANY call that has been used before from a different IOTA. 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C, , http://www.ad1c.us __ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Dx4win@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
[Dx4win] DX4WIN.CTY Release #86 - 15 October 2010
DX4WIN.CTY Release #86 is now available from: http://www.country-files.com/dx4win/ You can read the release notes at: http://www.country-files.com/dx4win/release.shtml You can use this script to update the file: http://dx4win.ad1c.us/update.htm It is important to get this update because the ADIF country codes for the new PJ entities have now been assigned. You must update both DX4WIN.CTY and adif.pmp - follow the Installation link on the web page above. If you use the update script, both files will be updated. This will probably be the last update until the first week of November. 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C, , http://www.ad1c.us __ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Dx4win@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html

No Jim; I didnt. All is OK after Andy G3SVD's referral to a previous post; however, I just tried what you asked by putting PJ2T in the window; then all of the PJ4's light up like a Christmas tree too ! I can live with this now Jim; thanks (Nice to hear you follow me into one of the 15m QSO's Jim !!) 73 Dave G3NKC -Original Message- From: jjreis...@gmail.com [mailto:jjreis...@gmail.com] On Behalf Of Jim Reisert AD1C Sent: 15 October 2010 16:37 To: Dave Sharred Cc: DX4WIN Reflector Subject: Re: [Dx4win] Cross posted - DX4WIN Spot colours and ADIF country assignments On Fri, Oct 15, 2010 at 5:41 AM, Dave Sharred wrote: > Further to the posts on colours for DX Spots; I too seem to see > erratic behaviour on PJ spots; with quite a few appearing in yellow > despite the fact that I have worked the same station on the same > band/mode already ! [Dx4win] German DOK Listing
After having updated the awd-file I noticed that the dok listing is now in the alphabetical order of town names. Because you can't work with that order, I would like to have the listing by dok numbers instead of locality names. Re: [Dx4win] Cluster disconnect question
Yup, DX4WIN is connecting to 'localhost:7300' and that's what's dropping after a day or so. There doesn't seem to be any real pattern to it, unfortunately. (If it happened every 12 hours or something I'd suspect my antivirus, for example.) I've moved it from 'localhost:' to '1.2.3.4:7300' using the system's local IP. If that doesn't make it better, I'll move CC User to a different computer to see if it gets any better. It is pretty strange - this same setup used to be as solid as a rock, which is why it's not likely to be DX4WIN's fault. As far as other comments go - I'm not telling DX4WIN to connect directly to a cluster node. If you're doing that and it's periodically disconnecting you, that could be caused by your Internet router or just because the Internet burped. You can try turning on the keepalive that Jim referred to, or do what I do and install VE7CC's CC User since it manages the cluster connection for me. If the node drops me or the Internet breaks, CC User will reconnect when the node comes back. 73, -Rick On Thu, Oct 14, 2010 at 8:12 PM, Mel wrote: > It's disconnecting from the loop-back?
