Re: [Dx4win] Is there a blacklist feature for Cluster spots?

2013-07-23 Thread Erkki Heikkinen
Barry,

I have been succesfully using filter command to my cluster node:

reject/spots by W3LPL

This works at least with DXSpider clusters. W3LPL skimmers are not very
popular. They would be ok if sent to the RBN network only, but for some
reason he wants to terrorize the cluster.

I'd like to block W3LPL spots, since his Skimmer aggregator makes my

 possible?

Use the VE7CC “CC user” cluster filtering tool. There is a switch to turn
on/off Skimmer spots.

Re: [Dx4win] Is there a blacklist feature for Cluster spots?

2013-07-23 Thread Pete Smith N4ZR
You can certainly do this at an ARC6 or VE7CC cluster node, Barry. I'm
a little defensive about calling his software an aggregator though,
lest it be confused with the RBN's Aggregator. W3LPL's draws only from
NA Skimmers, and it then compares them with a list of some 1000
interesting DX calls. If it matches, it is posted, and most recently
the comment field also contains an indication of where it was heard.

Check out the Reverse Beacon Network at

blog at reversebeacon.blogspot.com.
For spots, please go to your favorite
ARC V6 or VE7CC DX cluster node.
