thanks Bud that solved the problem. I saw nothing about the difference
between cap X and small x in the help files but you hit the nail on the
head and got me straightened out! Tnx 73's Cort K4WI

Cort,

%x (small x) sends the date, so that is why you are sending the date.
I think you want %X (capital X), which starts the transmission - even
though it says starts a PSK transmission. %X is what I am using.

Offhand, I can't find the complete definitions of all the control keys
with capital letters - maybe someone else can point us at it.

Good luck.

Use a %X to start transmission. Must be a capital X.

hi all need some help getting mmtty to work in dx4win. I am trying to get
the rtty buttons programed but I am not clear on what %(letter) starts
transmission. %e stops it. I have %x will start it but sends a date along
with it which is not what I want. F1 button is this:
CQ|%x%Mcq cq cq de %~ %~%m%E .This works but sends 1/16/2016 in front of
CQ etc. The help file shows nothing other than %M, %C, and %X what to
use in place? thanks Cort K4WI

Good read Bud. I missed the "x" versus "X". Cort, that will do it. DX4WIN

John,

I can't find it anywhere.

Can you tell me (us) where it can be found?

Thanks,

Hi Radi -

Randy, K5ZD, put me on to LM, by DL6WAA, when I volunteered to transcribe paper
logs for the WPX. It does a good job of streamlining
this task as much as possible, but it's still a time consuming job doing it by
hand like this...

You can export a file in a number of different formats.

Good Luck!
