[Dx4win] DX4WIN Data Updater 9.0 and Membership List selections

Thank you for all the comments so far.

At least a couple of people have pointed out that changing the
membership list selections doesn't necessarily change the Ids shown in
the Memb column in the DX spots window.

This is sort of a bug, or more properly, a feature that hasn't been
implemented yet.  I should have added this to the To Do list.  The
Updater program needs to notice that the list selections have changed
(since the program was last run), and EVEN IF none of the underlying
data files has been updated, should generate a new Membership List,
based on the new selections.  This is also true for Master Callsigns
and the Calendar.  If nothing is selected, then the Updater should
delete the file entirely, so DX4WIN doesn't find/load it.  It won't
cause an error with DX4WIN, simply that feature won't be functional in
the logger.

I am pretty sure I know how to make this work in the program, I just
need to write the code.  I'll make sure it's in the next version
(9.1).

Uninstalled the old updater, already had the C++ library. Downloaded,

[Dx4win] DX4WIN losing rotor contgrol USB

Hi,
Happened several times to me, sometimes because of RF feedback , sometimes for 
other reasons: Rotor control USB stops working, I reset it by plugging in and 
out the USB plug and must close and restart DX4WIN to have it active again.
Maybe in the next DX4WIN update (if it happens), it would be nice to have 
DX4WIN automatically re-check the USB ports if they get "lost".
One more idea fro Upgrade: have program to send email/SMS upon appearance on 
the Cluster of one of the prefixes entered in the "callsign alert" box !

  * Cancel/OK in sub-menus
  * Moving stuff around on the screen
  * Help/About while program running
  * DX4WIN already running
  * All available ways to close any window/pop-up
  * Do already-updated files try to update each time (i.e. time stamping)?
  * Check time zones east of Greenwich
  * Maintain “top” node when updating KCP/TCP (even if no longer active etc.)
  * Membership list error conditions

Let me know if anything works incorrectly and I'll try to fix the
problems as soon as possible.
