Did you possibly have some SEARCH criteria set that may have ignored
those records?

Very much a guess on my part.

I sent the am8am.dxl file to my friend EA8NQ, who also uses DX4WIN ver.

Any explanation?

Please make sure that all the correct boxes are checked in the AWARDS section

Perhaps not all modes are selected.

Re: [Dx4win] Mode Command Broken with FTDX101?

2021-04-14 Thread Tim moore
I'm running 38,400 with my FTDX 101D with the latest Firmware upgrade and
DX4WIN (latest edition) and I have no issues. I long ago slowed my polling
rate to 1000 msec (as well as setting the CAT Time Out Timer to 1000ms) due
to issues I saw running LPB2 virtual serial splitter software with 3
different applications trying to talk to the 101D at the same time via
virtual ports. Running at 1000ms solved any issues that splitter software
and 3 apps running at the same time caused. But I still run at 38400. I've
seen no issues with DX4WIN (or anything else for that matter) after the
firmware update on the 101D. I did notice right after the firmware update
it changed RTS to OFF (probably the default?). I run RTS ON (HI) on all my
comm ports, so I turned it back on.

[Dx4win] Mode Command Broken with FTDX101?

2021-04-14 Thread Bert Garcia
If you have the latest Yaesu firmware update for the FTDX101 and have
problems with the Mode, try slowing the baud rate and increasing the CAT
Time Out Timer in the radio.

The FTdx-101 rig file defaults to 38400. Select a lower baud rate in
DX4WIN in the File > Preferences > Radio by unselecting the Default box for
the Baud Rate and type 9600 as the Baud Rate for a test. Then Save Changes
and Exit.

Change your FTDX101 menu settings for the lower baud rate, menu item
Operation Setting > General > CAT Rate = 9600 and set CAT Time Out Timer to
1000msec.

This change has corrected the Mode issue for some users.
