[Dx4win] FT 4 qsos
Hello... I am using DX4WIN ver. 9.04.1176. In the past, with FT-8, I just imported the .adi file from WSJT-X and everything went fine. I understand that DX4WIN hasn't caught up with FT-4. I expected the .adi file to go into DX4WIN as just an FT-8 file. Not so !!! First I copied the ,adi file and imported it just as before, and everything seemed ok except... Instead of the usual reports showing send and received signal strengths, the .adi file imported as a CW qso with a normal RST! I can manually change the CW to FT8, but there are no signal strengths. What is going on? [Dx4win] Annoying problem
Hello all, I am a long time user of DX4win and all of my updates are current. Recently, something strange has happened. The window, "logbook sorted according to date", continues to add new qsos at the end but then window jumps back to QSO's in a random fashion. Unless I scroll down to the end, I don't see the most recent QSO. Unless I deliberately add a new qso, this window has become useless. Any thoughts on why this is happening? [Dx4win] Importing FT8 to DX4WIN
Hello all, Thanks for all of the responses. For some reason, DX4WIN didn't like my WSJT_X adi file because it kept hanging with the message, " Reading WSJT_log.adi (not responding)". I worked around the problem by importing the file to N1MM and then to DX4WIN. Not the most ideal way, but I will have to look into the problem a bit more closely. I have never had this problem before...strange. [Dx4win] Import FT-8 file to DX4WIN
Hi, My mind has wandered somewhat. I used to be able to import an FT8 file simply by copying the.adi log file from WSJT 1.8.2 to a flash drive and then importing it to DX4WIN 9.04. When I tried this today, the import file just hangs and I get error messages. Is there a more efficient way to do this? I seem to recall some previous methods put on this reflector, but I must have deleted them. Any help? [Dx4win] Problem Getting DX4Win to work on a new computer
Hello After a long time using an XP computer, I upgraded to a windows 7 computer for numerous reasons. Eventually I will upgrade to windows 10. The problem... I also upgraded the shack to an HP 6830 printer and installed all the drivers. It works fine. Unfortunately when I tried to use the CD to put DX4WIN on the windows 7 machine, everything went well until I tried to run the program. I got the error message, " Port driver not found".
