[Dx4win] problem in 6.02 or my cockpit error?

2003-03-05 Thread Ted Roycraft
Thanks for your suggestions Mel but I checked all these
things for several of the QSOs that have problems and
it all looks ok. I'm pretty sure that it is not something
like that because the problem doesn't show consistently.
Some QSOs have the problem and others that are very
similar (same band, same qsl status) do not have the problem.
It does seem to only affect QSOs that have been entered
before 6.0x. Also, 5.03 does not have this problem
when running on the same log file.

If Paul would like to look at my .dxl file, I'd be
happy to send it to him.

Ted

  Check:

The proper bands are selected for DXCC in preferences...

The QSOs in question have a valid signal report

The Valid DX field is set properly

And of course, the prefix field is correct.

I've noticed a problem that only seems to occur in the 6.0x
series of DX4Win. I'm not sure I can describe the symptoms
correctly but here is what I've observed. On some QSOs
that I entered using 5.03 and before, there are some cases where they
have been worked and show up in the logbook but both in
the Country window and the DXCC listing, they show up
as blank, i.e. no 'W', 'M'. I think all the ones that have been
confirmed show up ok but I've seen some (not all) that
are not confirmed or submitted but are worked and maybe
a qsl has been sent that show up as blanks in the Country
   and DXCC listing.

I looked at my 5.03 generated .dxl file using both 5.03 and 6.02
and the problem does not show in 5.03 but does in 6.02.

Has anyone else seen this problem?

   Thanks.

Thanks Alan! That was it. Deep down I knew it

 Ted,

Check in Preferences where it has Cutoff. I think any QSO's
before the number of days shown that are not confirmed will not
be counted as having been worked.

[Dx4win] Feature request for future version or point release

2003-02-20 Thread Ted Roycraft
Paul,

It would be nice if Dx4Win remembered
its last position on the screen as well as whicn
monitor it was running on in a multimonitor system
when it is restarted.

Thanks.

[Dx4win] automatic tcp/ip connection when DX4Win starts up?

2003-02-10 Thread Ted Roycraft
Is it possible to have DX4Win automatically set
up a telnet connection to a particular dx cluster
address when DX4Win starts up or is it only
possible to do it manually from the packet window?

Thanks.
