Re: [Dx4win] Fwd: Re: TS-990
I just tried DX4WIN with the 990 using the USB port, it's working fine after I set the 990 menu item 7-1 (USB baud rate) to match what is set in DX4WIN. And I'm using AD1C's 990 rig file. I have read elsewhere that I must use the 850 rig definitions. Anyone can help on what I am missing in the configuration ? [Dx4win] Band Map Not Folowing Radio - Solved
Jim, AD1C, solved this for me - the log must be in real-time mode (hit F9.) Bandmap works fine now. Paul W2LE After many years of using DX4WIN I decided to connect it to my radios. Running 8.05, radio is a K3, baud rate 38400 on a real Com1. This works fine with Writelog and Win-test. I open the band map, follow radio is checked. It initially opens on some other band than the radio is set for. If I click on a call in the bandmap the radio goes there and moving the VFO makes the red arrow move. But if I click on the log window and delete the QSO added when I first clicked on the bandmap the red arrow no longer follows the VFO. It will start working again if I click on another call in the bandmap. If I click on add QSO real time it always picks up the correct frequency. Is this how it should work or did I miss something in the setup? Re: [Dx4win] Window positions on a wide screen monitor
I tried checking the "leave all windows in original position" box again. It worked! I'm sure I tried that earlier. Re: [Dx4win] Window positions on a wide screen monitor
Yes, I can move the windows, but the positions are not saved. I did find in the help files - under Preferences|Screen - a note that says the main window will be in the top left corner. Checking 'Leave all windows in original position' doesn't make any difference. Paul W2LE On 12/17/2010 11:07, ve...@videotron.ca wrote: > You can put it where you want. Just drag and resize. [Dx4win] Window positions on a wide screen monitor
I just got a wide screen monitor and wondering if there is a way to change the startup position of the top window (the one that lists the version of DX4W and my call.) I've found that putting it in the top center works out much better, with the log window in the left top corner, and with the packet window below that. I'm running 8.04 Paul W2LE __ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Dx4win@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
