Re: [Dx4win] DX4WIN Version 7.06 and the FT2000 and FT9000
I believe Paul swapped the commands to send freq and mode from 7.05 to 7.06: "The radio driver now writes the frequency first followed by the mode; this change was needed for K3 radios" This could be the cause of the difference you noticed. - Jim On Mon, Dec 8, 2008 at 2:01 PM, Louis Dietrich <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > DX4Winers, > and Paul > > I am experiencing some problems with the latest version... > > Using identical rig files, as we used in 7.05.03 , here's what is happening > in 7.06.02. > > 1. RE: [Dx4win] DX4WIN Version 7.06 and the FT2000 and FT9000
All, Thanks to John, W9RPM!...He told me to change the CW Freq Display Menu 055 on the FT9000 and menu 061 on the FT2000D to "direct"... This seems to clear up my problem...but it is only in Version 7.06 where I've experienced this... So maybe the above will help some of the 2000/9000 users... Again, Thanks John! 73 Lou N2TU -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Louis Dietrich Sent: Monday, December 08, 2008 5:02 PM To: dx4win@mailman.qth.net Subject: [Dx4win] DX4WIN Version 7.06 and the FT2000 and FT9000 DX4Winers, and Paul I am experiencing some problems with the latest version... RE: [Dx4win] DX4WIN Version 7.06
Hi Jim and all; I think I missed something; this problem was fixed between V7.03 and the new one ?? !! OK; I'll check the bug fix lists; Just repeated the operation; the UPL flag was set before and now, imports are set to same group, but 706 works and the old version didn't ! Great; no work for Paul to do !!! 73 Dave G3NKC -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Jim Reisert AD1C Sent: 08 December 2008 21:41 To: Dave Sharred Cc: dx4win@mailman.qth.net Subject: Re: [Dx4win] DX4WIN Version 7.06 On Mon, Dec 8, 2008 at 1:35 PM, Dave Sharred <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > When importing ADIF files ; it would be good if we had the option (or dare > I say default !) to set the Upload log flag. [Dx4win] DX4WIN Version 7.06 and the FT2000 and FT9000
DX4Winers, and Paul I am experiencing some problems with the latest version... Using identical rig files, as we used in 7.05.03 , here's what is happening in 7.06.02. 1. If the rig is on SSB and I click on a CW spot, say 7044, the rig goes to 7044.7. If I click on the same spot again, the rig shows 7044... 2. If I then click on another CW spot, the rig goes to the correct frequency. 3. If I then click on a SSB spot 14185 (Rig still on CW), the rig goes to 14184.3. If I click on the same spot, the frequency read 14185... Something has changed in the latest version of DX4WIN I have switched back and forth between the versions...and have the same rig files in both Can anyone else verify the above? 73 Lou N2TU ___ Dx4win mailing list Dx4win@mailman.qth.net http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win

RE: [Dx4win] DX4WIN Version 7.06
Hi Paul Thanks for the recent update; I have successfully completed this, as you may have seen. I really appreciate your continued support of this product, as I am sure many others do. I may have missed the link, I thought there was a list to reported faults, but could not find it. There is one issue that continually bugs me, and I guess others: When importing ADIF files ; it would be good if we had the option (or dare I say default !) to set the Upload log flag. I have 2 scenario's: - I have done a contest (usually with WT !); and want to import the QSO's to my logging programme, for onward upload to LOTW, and I want my Log to manage this. Because I have no chance to set the upload flag, I have to manually change a lot of flags - I use a shack PC, and another for uploading // managing QSL's in the house. This means that I transfer log updates from the shack to the 2nd PC, and would want to do onwards uploads. I understand that the reason this behaviour occurs is that the Upload field is probably not an ADIF one; but could a prompt be made available, either in a menu or in a pop up dialogue box ? 73 Dave G3NKC -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Paul van der Eijk Sent: 08 December 2008 02:59 To: dx4win@mailman.qth.net Subject: [Dx4win] DX4WIN Version 7.06 Hi, I have uploaded DX4WIN version 7.06 to the website. [Dx4win] DX4WIN Version 7.06 - uploading
To whoever claimed a different QSO count when installing the new upgrade - I just performed it, following Jim's application notes, and had no problems (follow www.ad1c.com ) 73 Dave G3NKC ___ Dx4win mailing list Dx4win@mailman.qth.net http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win
RE: [Dx4win] DX4WIN Version 7.06
FYI, The installer EXE and the web site refer to version 7.06.02, but the program itself is 7.06.01 in the window header and the about box. Thanks for fixing the set QSL date and the K3! 73, Andreas, N6NU > -Original Message- > From: Paul van der Eijk [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Sunday, December 07, 2008 6:59 PM > To: dx4win@mailman.qth.net > Subject: [Dx4win] DX4WIN Version 7.06 > > Hi, > > I have uploaded DX4WIN version 7.06 to the website. > > In a previous attempt to send this email, it was rejected so now I try > again without the change log included in the message. > > --73, Paul, KK4HD > > ~~~ > DX4WIN logging software > Paul van der Eijk, KK4HD > BrookHill Data Systems LLC > http://www.dx4win.com > > > > > ___ > Dx4win mailing list > Dx4win@mailman.qth.net > http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win ___ Dx4win mailing list Dx4win@mailman.qth.net http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win
