As others have said, a new D4W group is often the easiest way to keep track of old and new QSOs. I found Kostas' solution particularly well-suited. As for LOTW, you needn't worry about it keeping track. Each of your call signs will have its own LOTW certificate which will contain the precise beginning and ending QSO dates/times for each call sign so it will know which call sign was used even if you don't use D4W to keep track and then you can be like Jim I Don' Need No Stinkin' Groups Reisert and just use a D4W date filter whenever you want to select all of one call sign or another. Re: [Dx4win] Previous Callsign
Pete i had some special calls in past which is similar and how is i have them in my log A have group 1 for my call (SV1DPI) group 2 for SX2004D (a special call i had in past) group 3 for SV1DPI/8 (which was an iota operation), etc. in filepreferencesqso i have group 1 as standard so any new qso comes like sv1dpi. in filepreferencesrep/lab i have @@...73 de %% so this means Kostas Tnx...73 de group name(sv1dpi, sv1dpi/8 etc.) you must have also printed group names checked before you print So group 0 has total dxcc ad if you make a selection by group you have dxcc totals for different calls 73 Kostas sv1dpi - Original Message - From: Pete Pel ve...@telus.net To: Dx4win@mailman.qth.net Sent: Wednesday, November 18, 2009 7:39 AM Subject: [Dx4win] Previous Callsign A question regarding previous callsigns. Thanks in advance. http://dx4win.ad1c.us/ Find the application note entitled, Managing Multiple Callsigns. I have had three callsigns, they obviously don't overlap in time, so a simple Filter | Selection (by date) takes care of it. 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C, jjreis...@alum.mit.edu, http://www.ad1c.us __ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Dx4win@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
