Re: [Dx4win] Strange Happening
Check the top of the logbook window what does it say it is sorted by. I'm guessing some how it has been changed to something other than date. 73 John ZL1BYZ -Original Message- From: dx4win-boun...@mailman.qth.net [mailto:dx4win-boun...@mailman.qth.net] On Behalf Of Carol Richards Sent: Sunday, 8 July 2012 07:02 To: dx4win@mailman.qth.net Subject: [Dx4win] Strange Happening I have been using DX4WIN for many. many years without any problems. The other day, something strange started happening. I keep my logbook up as I am operating. When I log a new station, it appears at the end of my file...quite normal. Then for some unknown reason, the cursor moves from the last entry to somewhere in the middle of my log. The new qso is still at the bottom, but the logbook screen has to constantly be readjusted to see anything. What happened and how can I correct it? I haven't done anything new? Re: [Dx4win] Strange Happening
I was able to duplicate your problem by changing the date on my computer. Changed to 2/7/2012. Entered a new QSO with ZD8Z and the logbook jumped to 2/7/2012.. Check your CPU clock.. 73, Art W6KY www.w6ky.com From: Carol Richards To: dx4win@mailman.qth.net Sent: Sat, July 7, 2012 12:02:08 PM Subject: [Dx4win] Strange Happening I have been using DX4WIN for many. many years without any problems. Re: [Dx4win] Strange happening
It might be the other logging program was using an extended character to display a slashed zero. If that's the case, go to the adif file with an editor and replace all the pseudo-zeroes with real zeros. Paul, they might be slash-zero's. Please send me the ADIF file, I can fix it and send it back to you. 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C, , http://www.ad1c.us __ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Dx4win@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
Re: [Dx4win] Strange happening
Hi Paul, Are you sure they are Zeros and not Oh's? Edit one by rewriting the call and see if it imports correctly. 73, Bob K2TK.
