Re: [Dx4win] WPX QSL's Oldest Confirmed

2009-11-12 Thread Jim Reisert AD1C
As far as I know Bud, when you create a filter by double-clicking on an
entry in a report, DX4WIN always goes to the earliest QSO (just as if
you had created the filter using F8). I believe it worked the same way
in Version 7. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Submissions are the ONLY
thing I know that picked the most recent QSO.

If you want to go to the latest QSO, after you have double-clicked in
the report, use Control-End in the QSO window to go from the oldest
(control-Home) to newest (control-End).

Re: [Dx4win] WPX QSL's Oldest Confirmed

2009-11-12 Thread Bud Governale, W3LL
Hi Jim,

Thanks for getting back to me.

I wasn't trying to create a submission.
I was trying to catch up on my QSLing of Digital QSO's that count for the new
Digital WPX award.

This is how I've done it in the past for DXCC Countries, the Challenge,
Counties, etc. that count for the award but not
QSL'd.

I'm not yet ready for a submission. I need to QSL them first.

What do I need to do differently in V8.02 to accomplish this objective of
QSLing the latest and not the oldest contacts?

Hi Bud,

When creating a submission, DX4WIN selects the most recent eligible
confirmed QSO.

When do you what you are doing, you are creating a filter. A filter
in DX4WIN always finds the oldest matching QSO.

Maybe you got the two confused
