Where? Same places. Preferences | QSO In 8.0x, there's a box in the upper-right with three separate check boxes - QSL, LoTW, eQSl. They set the label and/or upload flags for all new QSOs. including imported. -- Jim Reisert AD1C, , http://www.ad1c.us __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
Re: [Dx4win] eQSL Confirmations
I like this easier method. However, I looked all over but can't find where to set preferences to always set the eQSL flag for new QSOs. Also can this be setup for LOTW? Where? 73, Bud W3LL - Original Message - From: "Jim Reisert AD1C" To: "Bud Governale, W3LL" Cc: Sent: Wednesday, February 29, 2012 11:18 AM Subject: Re: [Dx4win] eQSL Confirmations On Wed, Feb 29, 2012 at 7:31 AM, Bud Governale, W3LL wrote: > 1. Re: [Dx4win] eQSL Confirmations
What you should be doing: 1. Export to eQSL 2. Upload ADIF file from #1 to eQSL 3. Wait. 4. Download outbox (I think) from eQSL. It's the one that has your confirmations. I think inbox is all your QSOs, so don't download that one. 5. Import from eQSL, selecting the file you downloaded in #4 This should set the eQSL confirmed flags to Y, nothing else, if you've done it properly. - Jim -- Jim Reisert AD1C, , http://www.ad1c.us __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html

That caused ALL of those QSOs to be marked as confirmed where most of them weren't. Whatever you use to download QSLs from eQSL must include ONLY confirmed QSOs. The DX4WIN import assumes that they're all confirmations and sets the "eQSL Confirmed"' flag. > I now need a way to purge all the bogus eQSL confirmations and find out > how to fix the confirmation issue. > I suspect that there's a way to clear the "eQSL confirmed" flag using "Multiple QSO operations" but someone else will need to help you with this. Once you've cleared the flag, you can re-download confirmations from eQSL and add them to DX4WIN. 73, -Rick -- Rick Murphy, CISSP-ISSAP, K1MU/4, Annandale VA USA __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
