[e-gold-list] Re: +++ CASHCARDS NOT GOOD TO GO +++ AVOID THEM IF POSSIBLE +++

2003-09-09 Thread Jim Davidson
Dear James,

They will not fund your card on time. They say they fund cards in 24
hours, its bullshit. It takes 2-3 weeks if you keep calling them. Call
them and listen to bullshit that your card is being funded today. Call
again tomorrow and the same story.
If you can wait 3 weeks feeling that you got scammed, use them.
I can no longer recommend Cash Cards. I've come to the
conclusion that they aren't what they used to be.
They used to be reliable, customer-service-oriented, and
effective. They aren't these things presently.
With adequate financing, effective software developers,
and better customer service, Cash Cards could be great.
I don't think there is anything essentially wrong with
their business model, but the implementation at this
point sucks.
Regards,

Jim

Speaking of which, has anyone become or investigated becoming a vendor of
ChexCard -- participarly creating a private label card.

I've made a few inquiries to ChexCard and have never even received the courtesy
of a reply.

Has anyone done due diligence on ChexCard/MBSC?

Could be that Steve from CahsCards decided not to load my card. Because I
posted negative comments before. I just talked with Customer Support
representative and he told me that Steve is in charge when dealing with
cards loading. He told me that he has no idea why my card was not loaded.
Its up to Steve ! Great ! They should know how many people read this list.

Dear Ahmed,

Is there a place to exchange e-gold with gold coins?
Yes, several. I happen to like the Bullion Exchange.

http://www.thebullionexchange.com/

Accepts e-gold and e-Bullion in exchange for gold coins.

There are also often gold coins on offer at
 http://goldbarter.com/
You might also do a Google search which might come up
with results like these 676:

[e-gold-list] Wait Till You Read This...

2003-09-09 Thread Mark
http://PayPalSucks.com
One of the top 1% of all sites on the net. (Alexa)

I visited this web, which is pretty good on their Paypal hating and I give
them two thumbs up, but wait till you read this..when it came to
offering alternative online currency solutions to their visitors (top 1%
of all sites on the net) here is their options if you can call them
that, this is copied directly from there.
+++Begin+
NoPayPal Options page!
If not PayPal, then who? Here are some good options for you. Most people
will be able to replace PayPal with one of these.

Merchant Accounts
Intelli-Collect: is trying very hard to setup people with their own
merchant accounts. They may be able to help you too. Tell them we sent
you. :-) Recommended.

ETI Merchant-Accounts We've had some positive feedback from users of this
site, they have no application fee, so we recommend them again.

Propay.com is another good one. You get a real merchant type account, your
business email address shows up on your customers credit card statement,
so they know who to contact in case of questions, and their rates are not
too bad. Plus no monthly fee! They have one other very nice feature: you
can do an ACH transfer (direct deposit) to any US bank account for $0.60!
Recommended.

ClickBank You can only sell intangibles. (ebooks, hosting, services, etc)
However, no monthly fees and very easy for your customer to use. You can
also block users based on their location, or accept almost worldwide. Your
choice. You are also included in their merchant mall which usually will
bring you a little extra business. Affiliate program built in with 100%
accuracy in tracking. Rates a bit higher than others, but ease of use and
the mall make this one worth looking at. Recommended, but expensive and
has restrictions.

Similar to PayPal
Money Bookers - Especially suited to international users (but anyone can
use them) and links to e-gold. They also give you a small % of all
transactions from your referrals. We use them and are very happy. Highly
recommended.

e-gold Online since 1995, this could be the year for e-gold. Their fee is
only 1% and you get a small portion of the fees from every transaction
your referrals make! Create your e-gold account now. :-) Note: to fund
your account, you have to either purchase gold from an online market maker
or have someone pay you in gold. As the system grows there will be less
need to buy gold, but in the beginning you might have to fund your account
with a purchase of gold. Recommended.

StormPay - Good grief, I have no idea! We've had both good and bad reports
from users. Mostly good, but a few very vocal bad. They did change their
ToS and usually don't reply to emails very well. Their contact information
lists a PO Box in the Dominican Republic:
Registrant:
StormPay Inc.
PO box 2331
Roseau
roseau, west indies - - -
DM
931-551-3783

However, they have a service that is almost identical to Paypal and easy
to setup and use. So we make it a Guarded Recommendation.

Merchant Account Primer - Intellicollect has put together an ebook to help
people choose the best merchant account. Click here to get the free ebook.
Or read our review of the ebook for more information. We recommend that
you read it before you choose a replacement for paypal.
If you know of an option not listed, let us know and we'll check them out.
None of the options above are perfect. Each have their pros and cons. We
can't guarantee the performance of any of them, but people keep asking...
What are our options? So these are what I've found that I can recommend.
All offer signup bonuses so if you sign up off our page, you'll be helping
us too.
Sites we do not recommend, and why:
The C company - (aka citibank) Participated in PayPal's IPO and demanded
ALL mention of the C company to be removed for this site. Their reason:
Advertiser is using damaging language regarding our competitor Read the
thread here .

Firepay - too many negative emails/comments

Ikobo - Read the thread here . Make up your own mind.

Yahoo - Intent on ruling the world. Don't worry though, their system is so
kludgy, no one will use it.

GoldMoney - Nice site, nice layout. Good ideas. But you have to snail-mail
them certified copies of your passport and utility bills before you can do
anything in their system. They are in the Bahamas. I'm sure your customers
won't mind a bit!Oh, they do pattern themselves after PayPal in another
way: They can freeze your account at any time for any reason. Quote:
GoldMoney may in its entire discretion cancel this Agreement and
terminate the User's rights and obligations in terms of this Agreement,
for any reason whatsoever, including, without limiting the extent of the
aforegoing, any breach of this Agreement by the User.

The post office has a plan too, but there's a monthly fee and I don't
recall it being easy for the customer.

Western Union also has a program, but it's another kludge.

James M. Ray wrote:
This rise might have to do with Blanchard's lawsuit going forward...
Barrick and Morgan Chase have 10 days to apply to Judge Berrigan
for permission to appeal her decision to the 5th Circuit Court of
Appeals. If her dismissal of the Barrick/Morgan Chase summary
judgment motion stands, the Blanchard lawsuit would proceed with
Blanchard empowered to compel Barrick and Morgan Chase to produce
evidence and testimony prior to trial.
So while that has yet to be realized just yet, it is very helpful
because according to GATA Chairman Bill Murphy,
Blanchard's success in court is a victory for gold producers and
investors, the free market, and a more honest international financial
system.

I maintain that The gold fundamentals are a 10 Plus / Gold is EXPLOSIVE.

Because of the emergence of gold backed securities. Which is each share
backed by physical gold, are trading on the Australian Stock
Exchange, and will be in the US, the UK and South Africa later this
year. World Gold Council is translating speculative interest in gold to
hard physical demand for metal.

Gold demand in India is far greater than what is reported, they know
what is in store for the price of gold.
Lets not over look the following, of course this list can.

http://www.e-gold.com/e-gold.asp?cid=107245

http://www.dawn.com/2003/04/21/ebr5.htm

http://pecunix.com/money.refined...buysell

http://gold-pages.net/Shopping/Coins_Bars_Bullion/index.html

http://gold-pages.net/World_Culture/

According to John Hathaway,
Buying gold is currently retarded and antiquated, he says.
The new securities change that at a stroke.
Physical money, is being drawn into the gold market in a way that nobody
can imagine.
Therefore the POG at $382/oz is hardly overheated.
