Subject: [e-gold-list] 51 merchants and rising..

Ladies & Gentlemen,

We now have 51 merchants who accept gold currencies listed on the eCTA site
and rising.

There is now bound to be something you need and want from a merchant with
which you can pay using gold currency.

Check out the merchant list at: http://144.132.16.252/cgi-bin/ecta/page.cgi
and select Merchant List from the Useful Links on the right.

Merchants,

If you are not yet listed you can be for free by emailing me at:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] and specifying the URL and some info concerning the
site.

Guidelines:

Must accept a gold currency.
No HYIPs, Adult sites or gambling please.
Must be a merchant NOT an exchange provider.
The eCTA has the last word on who is accepted or not accepted.
The eCTA has the right to change or amend or shorten, for reasons of space
and conformity, the description displayed.

Kind regards,

Michael Moore
Vice President
for the
Board of Directors
of the
eCurrency Trade Association Inc.

[e-gold-list] Two Cents Worth

2001-10-28 Thread Suzanna

Hi Everyone,

Sorry to bother the list with this, but I can't find a contact address on
the site. I did a spend to open an account with Two Cents Worth and I
haven't heard back from them. After the spend I believe it said I would
receive an automatically generated email with information. It never came and
when I tried to log in, my username and password were not accepted. I can't
find a contact address on the site so I am hoping to find the owner through
this list and get
things settled.

Yes, it should be addressed... for some reason it hasn't been and it happens
all the time!

Regarding problems with e-gold:

>For one thing, their customer service SUCKS!

I agree, and I don't understand why. All they need do is hire people to
answer the phone, and resolve password problems, and other minor complaints.
For larger complaints, they should find an avenue to resolve them.

>For another, they knowingly allow hackers to steal money from their clients
accounts and do NOTHING to stop it.

That's a pretty serious charge. Do you mean that these hackers were able to
hack into accounts and acquire them, without the owners knowledge or
participation? If so, then that should immediately be addressed.

What flaws does e-gold have?>>
  Craig

For one thing,
their customer service SUCKS!
For another, they
knowingly allow hackers to steal money from their clients accounts and do
NOTHING to stop it.

I personally
know 3 people who have had large amounts of money stolen from their
accounts by hackers, which was reported immediately. It took egold's "service"
dept DAYS to respond to email, phone and fax pleas for assistance. Just enough
time it seems to allow the hackers to move the money out of the system before it
could be traced and returned to its proper owner.

One friend lost
over $8000 another almost $30,000 all because egold wasn't around to answer the
phone. And once in contact with these unfortunate egold account holders,
admitted to knowing who the hackers are and refusing to aid in any way
possible.

Other than that
little "flaw" egold is just wonderful.
