Re: [Efw-user] Endian doesn't recognize WiFi Controller
Damn, I just bought it for 30 Bucks on eBay, so I guess the adapter goes back to where it came from and someone gives me a hint which controllers Endian supports out of the box... ;) Scott Silva wrote: > > on 12/13/2007 1:12 AM Deeter spake the following: >> I cant build anything on that maschine, because there is not even "make" >> installed with Endian. >> But I found out, that Endian comes with the Smart Package Manager, so i >> tried to use it to install madwifi, but I get errors everywhere, it seems >> Smart is not configured properly by Endian, nor has it any source, where >> to >> look for sources or binarys... >> I tried to run it like >> smart install (url to madwifi sources) >> and it did download that package, but afterwards it won't do anything to >> install and or compile it. >> Dis someone here manage to setup Smart correctly? Re: [Efw-user] Endian doesn't recognize WiFi Controller
I cant build anything on that maschine, because there is not even "make" installed with Endian. But I found out, that Endian comes with the Smart Package Manager, so i tried to use it to install madwifi, but I get errors everywhere, it seems Smart is not configured properly by Endian, nor has it any source, where to look for sources or binarys... I tried to run it like smart install (url to madwifi sources) and it did download that package, but afterwards it won't do anything to install and or compile it. Dis someone here manage to setup Smart correctly? Atheros chipset is right (at least that ist what lspci tells me), but i have no idea how to install madwifi drivers onto Endian... [Efw-user] Endian doesn't recognize WiFi Controller
Hello there, I'm running my Endian router for wired clients for more than 2 months now. Yesterday i finally got a WiFi Controller, it's a Netgear WPN311. But when I tried to install it, Endian didn't recognize it during boot. When i do : $ lspci It is mentionend like the other 3 Network Adapters, but as I said before Endian doesn't list it as a NIC. Anyone got an idea how I could get it to work? Thank you a lot!
