Quoting Swen Walkowski [EMAIL PROTECTED]: Hi all, thanks for all the answers. When it is pure RGB24 /YUV420P, for my understanding, I need to know how is the image in the array. Is it column by column or line by line. How is the arrangement and order off the color values? Or i miss understand something? After the calling from 'grabber-GetFrame(frame)' there have to be the actual image frame in 'frame', right? 'frame' is a 'PBYTEArray'. Can you say me in which format the image came? So that I can convert it to maybe JPEG or what ever. Thanks, -- Swen Walkowski SIP Phone: sip:[EMAIL PROTECTED] left to right and top to bottom, this is a planar and not a packed format, so you first get R component, then B and G or Y, then U and then V for RGB24 and YUV240P. Take care that U and V components are only quarter resolution (i.e. half width and height). Re: [Ekiga-list] Exchanging video device through line command or config file.
Dear Philippe, it works, but only if I am not connected with another person. And I would like to change the device while I am connected to show him outside of my home... I have another cam installed outside. So I guess I should to disconnect with the person and then to connect again. But I don't know what string, int, or other key I should set and what values to use for it. Another problem is happening ist that, when I disconnect here, it is not disconnecting there. This happen when I left ekiga in automatic answer. Well, if you may help me again I thnaks in advantage. Antonio Carlos. [Ekiga-list] Sound Problem
I am running a full-duplex Audigy SB0090 sound card under Debian 4.0r1. Without Ekiga 2.0.9 running, anything spoken into the microphone comes immediately out of the speakers. When I run the audio test in the Configuration Druid, nothing comes out. There are no error messages. So far I have been unable to find in the Debian repositories the rec tool mentioned in the Ekiga documentation. Thoughts? Thanks. Re: [Ekiga-list] installation problem with address book - local contacts
I'm running ekiga from KDE and have no completete GNOME system installed, maybe some package is missing. However, all required libs seem to be there if I type ldd /usr/bin/ekiga Some more info on my system: openSuse 10.2 64 bit, KDE 3.5.5, ekiga 2.0.9 I assume you have installed Ekiga from the BuildService? These packages no longer use /opt/gnome/ as prefix, but /usr. As a result, some parts of gnome are searched for in the wrong location. Make sure you have all gnome packages installed from the Buildservice, and are not mixing the packages from the DVD with the ones from the Buildservice. [Ekiga-list] Suggestion for Cropped Images
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 Hello all, I'm new to the list and reviewed the archives, but I may have missed stuff, so forgive me if I'm repeating old stuff. Anyway, I have a Logitech QuickCam Communicate STX (046d:08d7) I noticed it has been previously discussed that these cameras (actually, any that use gspca driver, apparently) tend to return with a cropped image instead of an error to ekiga, causing ekiga to use the cropped image instead of choosing a larger resolution and scaling. This is definitely an issue for gspca (which, hopefully somebody working on that reads this). My concern, however, is that ekiga does not offer any options for manually configuring how it behaves regarding resolutions. Can an option be included to manually select the resolution that is scaled? Also, is there any plans for ekiga to support transmission of larger resolutions? I'd love to have my 640x480 sent or scaled to 320x240 or 176x144. Ekiga should support that. Question: what other resolutions does Ekiga support, and how do I switch between them? -BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE- Version: GnuPG v1.4.7 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Fedora - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFG+xJQyQYCx13q+8oRAgmsAJ9ofv4qzg5n7ao9tx7z3V+2JUUtzQCgxDNy 73C0r8iTAtjiMmDTBF67Ua8= =MAcm -END PGP SIGNATURE- ___ ekiga-list mailing list ekiga-list@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/ekiga-list
