[Elecraft] Elecraft CW Net Announcement
Good Evening, It was a cool, partly sunny week. Temperatures were warm enough for hummingbirds to actively defend the feeder. New growth, a fresh crop of insects, and drier weather brought many new birds. I expect to see the elk return to take advantage of the grass. The sun is active; three X class flares so far have caused RF black outs. They have been arriving with an approximate 12 hour interval. It looks like we can slip both nets in between them. There will be no shortage of ions to relay signals. There will also be a wealth of QSB. Please join us on (or near): 14050 kHz at 2200z Sunday (3 PM PDT Sunday) 7047 kHz at z Monday (5 PM PDT Sunday) 73, Kevin. [Elecraft] K3S PART ID
This is more for someone who built a K3 in the past and might recognize the following item.. I bought a K3S and got it home and moved it around I could hear something metallic tumbling around inside. After disassembly I found it down under the KPA100 module. It is an L shaped piece of aluminum with one side being 1 1/4 long and the the 90 deg portion is 3/8. The 1 1/4 section has a #6 hole near its top. The L is 3/8 wide... I looked at the parts list for the KPA100 and could not find anything resembling it. I can send a picture of this if anyone thinks they might recognize it. 73 Mike K4PI __ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html Message delivered to arch...@mail-archive.com
