[Elecraft] K3 DVR memories
I am able to access the bank 1 memories through N1MM and figured how to access the Bank 2 memories also with N1MM. however when I access the Bank 2 memories (N1MM F5-F8) the F1 key then uses the Bank 2 K3 memories. That might not be clear but what I want to end up with is N1MM F keys 1-8 accessing the K3 memory banks. Anyone successful with this? [Elecraft] K3 Background noise
I have a problem with noise in the shack. On transmit it is picked up by the mic. Other than lowering the RF gain I understand that there is a setting which could reduce or eliminate this some where in the config. Any tgoughts would be appreciated. Just finished my K3 works great Interfaced with the microkeyer which reads the frequency and keys cw fine. Now I need to configure N1MM to put it all together. Created ports as follows in Router 2=Radio 3=Ptt 6=foot switch 8=winkey. Just getting my K3 up and running. I have a K9AY loop and would like to Have that as the receive antenna each time I change band to 160/80 Is there a way for the radio to remember this activity? Or do I have to press the rcv antenna switch each time? Comments appreciated.
