[Elecraft] Elecraft Service

2020-12-04 Thread Robert Hand
I’ve had nothing but great service from Elecraft. Make sure you
give them a fair opportunity to get back to you. It will be worth it.

Re: [Elecraft] "2" or "3" Paddle

2020-05-07 Thread Robert Hand
I’m not a super accurate cw op and not familiar with the keys you guys
are using but I like the longer keys as I believe that the extra leverage will
allow a stronger return mechanism which in turn should aid in overcoming the “
less than perfect “ action of most twin paddle keys that I have used.

Hi Bob.

Contact support(at)elecraft.com and request the free KPA1500 power supply load
resistor kit. They can also tell you if your amp S/N was manufactured before
we started adding the load resistor to new units some time ago.

Thank You to the replies I have recieved on this subject. When
I get back home in a few days I will look for the electrical hash again with
the fan on. I am guessing that this would point to the suggestion of some
slight loading of the power supply to smooth out emitted noise.

[Elecraft] Noise with amp

2019-03-10 Thread Robert Hand

I’m seeing the same thing with my KPA1500. All bonding is good. It appears
on ten meters with about 10-dB and with about 15-dB on six meters.
