[Elecraft] KPA 500: No Output
Hello-- I have a 3 yr old KPA500 that has just exhibited it's first problem. No amplification! I am remote controlling it via the remote client over the internet from 2000 miles away. Nothing has changed in the remote shack and no wiring has been disturbed. There is no output from the KPA on any band. I can see the 72 Volt B+, and the temp of the heatsink, and I can control the fan speed, so I have control of the unit. The client shows the exciter power through the amp and the SWR. There are no alarms and I have hit alarm reset and had the power plug pulled and reset. [Elecraft] KPA500 No Output on 6m
Bought and assembled a KPA500 kit in 2018. No output on 6m!! I've used it on 10-80 and love the performance. Never checked six until I became interested in six this summer. Put up a 3 ele yagi and its good barefoot/good match but no output on six using the KPA... Any ideas? [Elecraft] KPA500 Remote Utility
I have been using the KPA500 remote utility for a couple of years with good success and suddenly unable to communicate with the KPA. I am using the microbit RRC system to operate my station remotely. I am not immediately suspecting those units and everything is working except the communication with the KPA500. Recently I cannot connect to the KPA and I suspect I have inadvertently changed some setting on the utility "connect" menu. It was downloaded from the electraft site on 12/26/21 so I think I have the latest version. I suspect it is the "server setup". I have no idea what to put in the boxes and did not note what was there when everything was working. The TCP port is 4626 and using the username and password of my router. Not sure the Host/IP box. Anyone using this remote utility that knows the finer points of networking and setup? It would be greatly appreciated to contact me.
